Vinyl Cover Design : Sick Again “I Only Live To Get Radical” (2020)

The UK rock band Sick Again released their first album “I Only Live To Get Radical” and I designed and illustrated its vinyl cover and LP labels. The record is dedicated to the band members’ dad who used to be a geologist at the Cornish tin mine, South Crofty, so the whole design is wrapped with photography related to him, except the back cover where I drew a cross section map of the mine with some fantasy elements he might have liked.  
 
UKロックバンド Sick Again が2020年にファーストアルバム『I Only Live To Get Radical』をリリース。私がレコードジャケットのデザインとイラストを担当しました。このアルバムは、イギリス・コーンウォール州の鉱山で地質学者をしていた、バンドメンバーの父親へ捧げるものだとのこと。ジャケットは彼にまつわる写真を中心に構成し、裏面には彼が好きだったというダークファンタジーの世界観を意識しつつ、鉱山の断面図を描きました。
