Spring Has Come

This is the real and true story,
Occuring in Camberwell,
Where I am living happily and well.

The sky has fallen down to the ground,
Melting into an apricot yellow.
A fox is eating the rose bush,
The magnolias are blooming above.

The moon has ripened, I am frightened.
So I visit the house of Lizie
Where she is sewing peacefully.

A cat disappears through the fence,
Then a dog starts barking.
This is the real and true story.
Now the spring has come.
